The Zaken Corporation was established by President Tiran Zaken back in 1994 as a finder and seller of closeout merchandise. Emphasizing sales and service, he soon determined that to accommodate his growing customer base, he would need to add not only more merchandise but also people to help him locate and sell that merchandise as well. By 1999, using his sharp marketing techniques, he had trained professionals all over the United States and Canada who were not only helping him locate liquidation merchandise for the company, but also assisting in the discount marketing effort as well. This arrangement proved to be a major help for many companies and independent entrepreneurs all over the country who were attempting to solve their specific merchandising problems.
In late 2007 the corporate office, merchandise showroom and warehouse were moved to a beautiful new 37,000 square-foot facility located at 2610 Conejo Spectrum Street in Thousand Oaks, California, USA.
